Very Stylish Girl

Advertising & Commercial — Campaign DNA

Brand storytelling across print and video—concept, casting, wardrobe, and art direction—delivered with editorial polish. Ashley Stewart and Curvation (Queen Latifah); consulting from grassroots (B2Gear, Brooklyn) to Fortune-scale (Sara Lee Corporation, Elena Mirò, Ulla Popken). Partnered with Joe Sitt on Ashley Stewart; pitched Curvation to Target and Walmart. The only plus- size stylist on TLC’s What Not to Wear; credited in Dress Your Best. Editorial-level finish for the big market—bridging high fashion and e-commerce. Proud moment: dressing Queen Latifah for her stellar interview on Inside the Actors Studio with the late James Lipton.

Press — The Word • The Pen • The Voice

Featured expert & contributor. My unpublished masterwork—an André Leon Talley interview with a Lafayette 148 (Edward Wilkerson) review—debuts on my blog. Service journalism that helps women action style. Proof of voice. Editorial — Covers & Fashion Stories

Editorial is curated visual storytelling—concept, casting, wardrobe, and art direction shaped into impactful spreads and covers. I craft brand stories across print and video to sell a message with editorial polish, luxury textures, cinematic light, and curve-smart proportion. Decades of covers and features blend trend, heritage, and timelessness. Narrative-driven looks and exacting art direction create images that feel modern, ageless, and unforgettable—setting a new standard for inclusive, aspirational style. Plus-size at its highest level. Editor/Stylist — VSG. View Editorial Selects →

Fashion Aristocrats — Icons, Allies & VSG Heroes

I’ve traded notes with tastemakers across culture and commerce—translating influence into body-inclusive style: André Leon Talley (visionary editorial force), Bethann Hardison (diversity pioneer), Jackie Rogers (Coco Chanel muse; luxury insight); with Phillip Bloch (celebrity stylist), Tony Hsieh (late Zappos CEO), Teri Agins (fashion journalist/author), Carmindy Bowyer (beauty expert), Emeril (chef/brand builder), and Run-DMC (OG style architects). Access, context, and the courage to widen the frame partnerships that move inclusion from panel to practice. An alum of Grace Del Marco/Charm School and a lifelong admirer of trailblazer Ophelia DeVore, I carry that legacy forward, bringing plus-size perspectives into fashion’s inner circles and turning influence into action.
